A lot of people compare jumping into a VR headset to when the characters of the Tron series lose themselves in their own virtual worlds. CCP Games’ Sparc takes that comparison a little more literally, creating a VR eSport that’s an actual sport, much like what can be seen in the classic movies. It’s as much fun to play as it is to watch; Sparc will have friends working up a sweat as they try to best each other in futuristic competitions in which you need to tag the other player with projectiles. It’s playing games like Sparc that really remind you this is the future of entertainment. What a shame CCP itself has pulled out of it for now.

Why you need it: After sweeping or blowing away the loose dirt, you still may need to get deeper into the surface pores and cracks on older pavements. Yeah the biggest problem for a lot of us from last season were the Klingons themselves. That was another smart decision the episode did and kept the Klingons away. Obviously we know they are coming back but the show told us its not going to be directly about them and thats a good thing.

As “Bohemian Rhapsody” goes on, the band falls apart and comes back together in inevitable, if not always historically accurate, melodramatic ways. The camaraderie among the members of Queen is fun to behold, because the film captures what different cloths they were cut from, and the actors fill in their roles — Gwilym Lee is especially good as Brian May, with his Louis XIV mane, virtuoso guitar licks, and jovial straight-arrow crispness. When Freddie reveals to the band, during rehearsals for the Live Aid show, that he has HIV (even though he wasn’t, in fact, diagnosed until two years later), it’s moving, because at that moment the film touches the truth of all great rock bands: that they’re brothers. Freddie’s Live Aid performance gets reconfigured into his secret way of fighting back against the disease. He’s sick, with an ailing throat, but he looks and performs as though he’s in his prime, a show-must-go-on mirage that’s a testament to his rock ‘n’ roll fervor. In a sequence like that, “Bohemian Rhapsody” nails Queen’s majesty. What eludes the film is Freddie Mercury’s mystery.

Why don’t you take a step back, realize that you don’t actually know what you are talking about, and try to honestly learn something from scientists that know far more than you do?

You’re missing a part of that line though. Kirk continues on to say “We find the one quite adequate.”
