At San Sebastian, as shown on slide 25, mining studies are being completed on the Professor East Francine veins and the polymetallic mineralization of the Francine vein. While at the same time, surface drilling is focused on defining new near surface oxide mineralization along the West Francine and Esperanza veins. Recently, we have successfully identified new oxide veins at the El Toro target, and are pushing hard to define a new oxide source with further drilling. The emphasis of exploration in 2019 is to rapidly advance our opportunities in Nevada, define new oxide mineralization at San Sebastian, and continue the drilling successes at Casa Berardi and Greens Creek.

Such things don’t really take me out of the story. But there were some things done in TNG that I never really embraced. The “ready room” I felt was silly. TOS had a Briefing Room. The Ready Room was merely the Captain’s Office more than anything else. Yes, it’s a nit to pick. And again, it’s not a big deal. But still not a fan. And certainly not a fan of going back and saying Kirk’s Enterprise had one when it appeared it didn’t. Yes, they never said there wasn’t one. But be realistic. Over the course of 70+ episodes there was NEVER a moment when Kirk could have used an office for a conversation that drove the plot? I don’t think the NCC-1701 had one and I think it safe to conclude that such things did not appear on Federation Star Ships until after Kirk’s ‘death’.

The graphic that we included is just one example. This is the East Ore in the very high end of the mine, where we anticipate when we published our report, that there’ll be 15,000 fewer development feed. And a part of it is coming from this section we’re showing in the graph, but not all of it. Some of it’s just a good rethink of how we’re accessing what are complicated ore bodies; these things are geometrically complex. And the more we can come off of the existing access, as we have in this example, the less development we’re gonna do. So, 15,000 feet capitalize-wise is no small amount of money. It’s actually its quite significant.

Since stripers normally own just one style of marking remover, it’s typically the drum-style scarifier. Commonly called a “grinder,” it removes the stripe by cutting a groove into the surface until the marking is gone

Maybe we believe there are plenty of great stories left to be told, we just don’t think this current incarnation is delivering.

For its part, MSNBC got political in one of its stories, pointing out that the White House buried the report by releasing it on the Friday after Thanksgiving. This seems obviously true, and I’m glad they pointed it out. But when the story got to the report’s findings, it too ignored adaptation. MSNBC had a second chance to deal with the subject in another segment elaborating on the report’s findings. But this segment also contained not a single mention of adaptation.

When it was revealed that Tilly’s old schoolmate wasn’t really there, I immediately thought it was the Talosians creating the illusion just like with the fortune cookie fortune that Pike finds. Could they be helping the Discovery crew?

Michael is obviously the central figure so she won’t be going anywhere. Fortunately for you, thanks to CBS, Kurtzman and those who watch Disco, there is a lot more Star Trek coming for you to choose from. I’m feeling anxious about having that undermined and hope that we’ll end up in a truly Trekkian place at the end of the season.
