Looking back into the American zeitgeist of 1994, FX’s drama adaptation of the trial of the century is an enthralling 10 episodes. It’s brilliantly cast and captures the moment, with all its bizarre and upsetting ins and outs, extremely well.
Finally we have a ST:D episode that is actual, proper Star Trek. This episode was better than all of season 1 combined. Not perfect, but MUCH better.

The “Breaking Bad” spinoff may not live up to its predecessor’s status, but with Vince Gilligan’s writing and Bob Odenkirk’s acting, “Better Call Saul” is an admirable effort. Though you can’t get completely caught up on "Better Call Saul" without purchasing the latest season, the first two are still available on Netflix.
Largely left out of much of the coverage that I’ve seen is an equally important part of the Congressionally mandated report: the pressing need to adapt to changes that are already occurring, and inevitable future changes.
Many of us watch with friends, too, and the noise we make definitely means I have to re-watch! But what a blast!
And the issues go deeper. “Adaptation” implicitly is about adaptation to climate CHANGE. If the conversation built around vulnerability reduction (reducing exposure to climatic and coastal hazards), that would put the #expandingbullseye (http://j.mp/expandingbullseye) of built vulnerability front and center (the main driver of losses is where/how we’re building, with or without co2-forced heating).
I’m pretty sure that’s not Pike’s ready room but his quarters. The room is larger and after they’re called to the bridge, it looks like they are emerging from the turbolift.
