How is it “intolerant” to simply say that religious delusion is not evidence-based and a pack of lies? Religion is made up fiction and absurd. Talking snakes? Please. Being alive in the sky after dying? Just dumb. Religion is primitive poison. I’m with Gene Roddenberry in the feeling that religion holds humanity back and is something that belongs in the trash bin of history.

Captain Pike leads the way, showing he is very much of a by-the-book kind of leader, perhaps even showing he may be rigid to a fault.
